Level 2 is the whole game
The 120V cord that came with your car adds about 3–4 miles of range per hour. A hardwired Level 2 charger on a 240V circuit adds 25–40 miles per hour — a full charge overnight, every night. That's the difference between an EV that works for your life and one you're constantly planning around.
We install 40, 48, and 60-amp Level 2 circuits depending on your car and your panel. Bigger isn't always better — we size it to what your vehicle can actually accept so you're not paying for capacity you'll never use.
Your panel has to be ready
Here's where most charger installs get interesting: a Level 2 charger is one of the biggest single loads in a home, right up there with the AC. Before we run a foot of wire, we do a load calculation on your panel to make sure it can carry the charger plus everything else.
Still on 100-amp service? We'll tell you straight — and a panel upgrade to 200 amps solves it permanently while adding value to the house. No guesswork, no tripped mains at 2 AM.
Tesla, Ford, Rivian — we do them all
Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint Home Flex, Emporia, Grizzl-E, or a simple NEMA 14-50 outlet for a portable cord — we install them all. Driving a Tesla but want the universal plug for your next car? We'll talk through it.
Garage, carport, or driveway pedestal — we run the circuit where your car actually parks, with weather-rated gear for our Gulf Coast rain. Conduit run clean along the wall, disconnect where it's required, everything labeled.
What install day looks like
Most installs take half a day: mount the charger, run the dedicated circuit from the panel, set the charger's max current to match the breaker, test under load, and walk you through the app. We handle the permit side and make sure the work meets code — your charger, your car's warranty, and your insurance all stay happy.
